ERIN ANDERSON is an award-winning writer, audio producer, and multimedia artist based in Pittsburgh. She is the co-creator and producer of the Audacy Original Podcast Cement City, named one of The New York Times’ top ten “Best Podcasts of 2024.” Shortlisted for two Ambie Awards, including “Podcast of the Year,” the series is a 2025 National Magazine Award Finalist for podcasting.
Anderson’s independent radio and podcast work has been featured by the Third Coast International Audio Festival with distribution through KCRW’s UnFictional, WHYY’s The Pulse, and PRX. Her debut audio drama, Our Time Is Up, received a Sarah Lawrence College International Audio Fiction award in 2016. She has produced public art works and multimedia installations for a variety of venues—including Seattle’s Jack Straw New Media Gallery and the Smithsonian National Museum of American History—and published scholarly essays across journals of writing, performance, and digital culture. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Writing Program and the Film and Media Studies Program at the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned her Ph.D. in Critical and Cultural Studies in 2014.
